Generations of Grace— CARO Retreat

Generations of Grace — A CARO Mother–Daughter Retreat

A five-day retreat abroad for mothers and daughters in this formative stage of becoming, particularly ages 15–20.

“Caro” comes from my name — Caroline — and from its Latin meaning:

beloved, dear to the heart, of great worth.

It’s also the name of my great-grandmother, Caroline La Porte Oliver, whose grace and presence shaped generations.

This retreat continues our lineage.

A space for mothers and daughters to return to one another — intentionally, with presence, joy, and depth.

A modern rite of passage.

A pause to reconnect and remember what matters most.

Why This Retreat Exists

Girls today navigate pressures no generation before them has seen.

Mothers often feel stretched thin, seeking space to breathe, reconnect with themselves, and strengthen their bond with their daughters.

This retreat is a response.

A modern school of emotional and embodied education — disguised as a beautiful, grounding trip to Tulum.

The experience gives each participant:

  • the tools for emotional resilience

  • confidence and self-trust

  • communication and boundary skills

  • money + life literacy (MAV)

  • community, belonging, and creativity

  • renewed clarity and connection

Everything we needed growing up — and want to give our daughters now.

A Note From Caro

I created this retreat because I wanted something that didn’t exist —

a place where mothers and daughters could pause, breathe, reconnect,

and learn alongside one another.

A space where young women unlock their power

without pressure, performance, or comparison.

A place where mothers remember themselves

and step into their next chapter with love, curiosity, and confidence.

This is a homecoming.

A remembering.

A new tradition.

If this speaks to you, I would be honored to welcome you in.
